APECC Chess Club Non-Master Executive Active Chess Tournament – March 2018

APECC (Ayala-Paseo Executive Chess Club) is holding a tournament once again that will cater to all non-master, executive chess players around Metro Manila. See below details:

Date: Saturday, March 24, 2018; 9am (Round 1 starts at 10am)
Venue: Shakeys Makati Square (Air-conditioned), Chino Roces Ave., Makati City

Eligibility: Executive chess players
*** those employed with managerial and supervisory functions in private and government offices, service professionals, legal and medical practitioners, accountants, engineers, and others deemed qualified by screening committee – working professionals with college degree/diploma.

Rating: Not higher than 2055 NCFP Rating as of March 1, 2018

Format and Time Control: 6 or 7 Rounds Swiss System / 23 minutes with 3 sec.time delay

Requirement: All participants must bring proof of identification such as 1 Company ID and 1 valid Government ID.

Attire: Casual but no wearing of short, sandos and slippers or sandals.

Champion – P6,000.00 plus Trophy
2nd Place – P3,000.00 plus Trophy
3rd Place – P1,500.00 plus Trophy
Individual medals for Top 2055 & Below, Top 1900, Top 1800, Top 1700, Top Unrated, Top Senior (60 yrs. old & Above)

Registration Fee: P800.00
*** Pre-registration is REQUIRED.
*** You may deposit your registration fee at any Bank of the Philippines Islands (BPI) branch.

*** Deadline for pre-registration : Not later than March 17, 2018.
*** Pre-registrants are advised to send the photocopy of deposit slip together with their ID to the email address or Viber number below.

Note: Non-APECC participants are subject to screening and the organizer has the right to accept or refuse non-qualified participants.

Venue has limited capacity. Only playing participants will be allowed entry to the tournament venue.
