Hikaru Nakamura ( born December 9, 1987) is an American chess grandmaster.

He is a four-time United States Chess Champion, who won the 2011 edition of Tata Steel Group A and represented the United States at five Chess Olympiads, winning two team bronze medals. He has also written a book about bullet chess called Bullet Chess: One Minute to Mate.

Caruana Wins London Chess Classic 2017; Carlsen Bags Home the Grand Chess Tour 2017 Title

Fabiano Caruana and Ian Nepomniachtchi won 3 games each and tied for first place in the 9-round London Chess Classic 2017, the last and final leg of the Grand Chess Tour 2017.
